Montreal, Quebec, December 2, 2025–Forte Distribution, a leading distributor of audio andaudiophile music products, today announced that the a new Shanling SACD player will beavailable this month in the U.S.
The SCD3.3 (SRP: $3,990) is Shandling’s response to music lovers seeking a reference-gradeSACD player. The player, which features both a 24-bit R2R DAC and 12AT7 tube amplification, delivers both the natural sound of analog audio and extensive digital connectivity.
“Shanling’s SCD3.3 is the ultimate statement of the company’s design capabilities when it comes to Super Audio discs,” says Roger Fortier, VP and Director of Sales, Forte Distribution, U.S. distributor of Shanling Electronics. “The hybrid analog/digital design combines the best of both worlds for sonics that stand out from the standard SACD player. It’s a major step forward for the brand and its product selection.”
The SCD3.3 features a system that was developed in-house, with the acclaimed HD850 drive, to present Super Audio playback with the utmost precision, detail, and reliability. The FPGA-assisted I2S output’s 10 modes brings native DSD output to any I2S-capable DAC on the market.

The player’s second generation Shanling-developed DAC produces smooth, natural sonic output with precision and clarity.
The tube section of the SCD3.3 serves as the amplification stage of the RCA and XLR outputs. Its 12AT7 tubes, originally designed by renowned audio engineer Dr. Cai Hongren, are tested and matched for every unit.
A multifunctional interface makes it easy to switch among any number of sources, including Flash, HDD, and SDD with full support of high-resolution audio up to PCM 768kHz and DSD512.
Additional features of the SCD3.3 include a 9.5mm thick solid aluminum CDC chassis, a top-loading drive with a precisely weighted CD puck, an intuitive five-inch touchscreen, and a transparent opening that displays the warm light of the tube array.
In addition to the touchscreen display, the SCD3.3 is operable with Shanling’s Eddict Player app, available for both Android and iOS. Like the touchscreen, the Eddict Player is a smart, intuitive control with easy-to-master functionality.

“The SCD3.3 epitomizes Shanling’s approach to combining the best performance and usability in a single model that stands out from competitively priced products,” adds Mr. Fortier. “After previewing it at the recent Capital Audiofest in Maryland, pre-release demand is through the roof. We can’t wait to put this outstanding SACD player in our customers’ hands.”
