VIVID AUDIO GIYA Cu INTRODUCTION
Vivid Audio was founded in March 2001 by Philip Guttentag and Laurence Dickie.
Laurence Dickie, leading the engineering team, his work universally known as the designer of The Nautilus and numerous groundbreaking designs, including a Queen’s award for advancement of audio reproduction.
The iconic shape of the Vivid Audio Giya series has been around for nearly 18 years, now premiering in it’s third iteration, including copper-clad motor assemblies in the mid drivers.
The new Vivid Audio Giya Cu (Copper) encompasses all the hallmarks of our designs, including tapered tube technology, sporting our bespoke, in-house developed and built drive units.
It is at our own factory in Durban, South Africa, where all the designs are fully handmade by 35 skilled employees. From the stressed skin glass and carbon fibre enclosures to the drivers and crossover parts.
Vivid Audio has carved its own niche in the High End Audio firmament and is loved all over the world for their absence of any sonic signature.
We try to provide the clearest possible window on the original performance, and we like to believe we have succeeded!
